Art Enthusist

Since the day we brought Walter home from the hospital he has stared up at the art on our walls. In particular, the famous poinalist piece by Seurat (you have seen in it Ferris Beuller I bet). A few days ago he started trying to read the words on the print, “The Art Institute of Chicago.” He probably got it 70% right. So I helped him know how to pronounce it, and he loved reading it again and again. Occasionally, he would read it backwards or read off each letter individually.
Then he started asking me what it said in the smaller print (the piece is large so its readable, I just thought he didn’t notice it). I read it to him pronouncing it the best way I knew how: Georges Seurat A Sunday on the Grande Jatte 1884. He asked me to read it several times. Today he looked up and read it to me.
